Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a stunning country in Central America that boasts thriving natural beauty. The government is investing heavily in nature conservation, making it an ideal destination for eco-tourists. Rainforests are the main habitat throughout the country, which houses many special animals. The eye-catchers of the rainforests are the sloths, monkeys, toucans and coatis. Walking in different national parks is a fantastic experience and spotting wildlife is easy in comparison to other rainforests in the world.

The country has around 5 million inhabitants and around the capital San José there is 40% of the population.

I was travelling here by car for over three weeks to find as much nature and wildlife as possible. I was here in January, so most of the country has dry season (although it can always rain), and the country is in high season. It is always warm, besides in the mountains.

The country has a magical amount of wildlife, which can also be found outside national parks, so always be prepared to find cool creatures. Being here is fantastic and I would recommend anyone to visit this country if you are interested in nature and also love to be on the beach. Enjoy La Pura Vida!
