Spain is one of the most popular countries in the world to visit, and that is no surprise. The country has many things to do and see, so you will be short on time when visiting Spain. The fantastic buildings, lovely beaches, great cities, and tasty food will make you fall in love with this country. There are many regions to discover, like Catalunya and Andalusia, and when in this country, you will have to make decisions on where to go. 

I have been multiple times in Spain and visited different areas, travelling by car, on a city trip, or by plane. There were some short trips to cities and longer ones, but I have not seen all the big highlights this country has, even some very important ones. However, there are sights that I have seen, and I will give information on those. 

Spain is the biggest country on the Iberian Peninsula, which it shares with Portugal. It is one of the bigger countries of the European Union and is famous for the big cities of Madrid, the capital, and Barcelona. There are around 47 million inhabitants, and around 70% of them are Catholic. I would not recommend going in the summer as it can get extremely hot (except in the north).
