Greece

Greece is a captivating country with a wide range of attractions beyond its famous islands. Exploring the old buildings, trying the delicious food, interacting with the incredibly fantastic people, and discovering the capital city of Athens and its monasteries are just a few examples of what this region has to offer. Although I haven't been able to explore every part of Greece, I will share my experiences of the places I have visited.
Greece lies at the southeast point of mainland Europe, and it consists of many islands, that lie in the Mediterranean. The country has around 10 million inhabitants and is divided into many cities. Athens is the old capital, which is an impressive city near the coast.
I travelled here mostly with Athens as a base, which has many things to see. Besides, we did a tour to see the historical Delphi and one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, Meteora, with its monasteries on high mountains. We were in Greece in December and January, when temperatures are very pleasant and tourism is low.
